October 24, 2022 -The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has begun the construction of 3 ft. wide “safety shoulders” on FM1378 (Country Club Rd.) from State Hwy. 5 to Stacy Rd. This project will include some drainage work (replacement or extension of existing culverts). If you have a driveway culvert for a drive that connects to FM1378, the culvert may be moved or replaced. Your driveway will get repaved at the connection to FM1378 if TxDOT has to move or replace the culvert. Left turning lanes will be added on FM1378 at Hart Rd./Red Oak Trail. Left turning lanes will also be added at Sloan Creek Intermediate School. This project will take a few months for TxDOT to complete and there will be intermittent delays and flagmen during construction. TxDOT started on the State Hwy. 5 end of FM1378 and are working their way East and South.
